My name is Mark Miller, and I've created this blogspot as a means of journaling and documenting a trip to Haiti that I will be making on November 6th. This trip is nothing I ever planned on doing, but as chance would have it, I find myself embarking on this adventure. The "chance" is the sudden passing of my bother-in-law earlier in October. This trip is really Robert Riley's, and though it is tragic that he is not able to go, it is good that someone is able to go in his stead. That I get to be that one is an honor and a privilege.
The Facebook page I created (the same name as the title of this blog) will be used for pictures, comments about the pictures, and brief status updates. My intention for this blog is as more of a journal at the end of each day. It will be interesting to see how well I am able to manage and generate content given that it will all be done using my BlackBerry... but I'm going to give it a shot. This very post has been composed on a Droid : ) and it hasn't been too awkward. A bit time consuming, but not too awkward.
Anyway,time to see how this looks published!
